QuikTrip has opened a new convenience store in Texas, pushing its total to more than 300 locations statewide. The retailer said it has plans to expand its footprint across the state with eight to 10 additional stores scheduled to open by the end of 2026 in the Houston metro area<\/a>.<\/p>\n The new store, which opened on Tuesday in Galveston County, is located at 205 FM 517 Road W. in Dickinson.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cCities and towns across Texas have continued to embrace QT as more than just a convenience store, and we are excited to join the community of Dickinson that has welcomed us with open arms,\u201d\u00a0said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The c-store chain\u2019s new store features a full-service kitchen\u00a0with fresh, made-to-order meals; grab-and-go options; and roller grill items.\u00a0The new store also features the chain\u2019s coffee system, which offers 12 different options on tap, including hot and iced lattes made with real milk and freshly ground coffee beans.<\/p>\n QuikTrip\u2019s new location will bring around 24 new jobs to the area, the company said.<\/p>\n QuikTrip is also growing in the Midwest. On Thursday, QuikTrip opened its seventh Ohio location with five more store in development and expected to open across the state throughout 2026.<\/p>\n
