Country music singer Koe Wetzel<\/a> is heading to Fort Worth<\/a> to celebrate a big anniversary.<\/p>\n

The native of Pittsburg, Texas, is performing two shows this week in support of his song \u201cFebruary 28, 2016.\u201d Wetzel will be at his Riot Room<\/a> locations in Houston on Feb. 26 and in Fort Worth\u2019s West 7th district on Feb. 28.<\/p>\n

Fans can register online for a chance to attend the Fort Worth show at Wetzel\u2019s bar and restaurant.<\/p>\n

The singer\u2019s website also links to a petition for Feb. 28 to officially be recognized as \u201cKoe Wetzel Day\u201d in Texas. Fans can also create their own mug shots via Wetzel\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

What is the song about?<\/p>\n

Wetzel\u2019s song is a favorite among his fans. He wrote it after spending a few nights in Erath County Jail for public intoxication in Stephenville.<\/p>\n

The lyrics from the tune reference hiding marijuana and a bottle of whiskey from police after being pulled over. The narrator thanks God for keeping him safe as he drives around town inebriated.<\/p>\n

There are also several references to stopping by Taco Bell for some grub.<\/p>\n
