FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas \u2013 A Fort Bend County grand jury has no-billed former Houston Rockets player Patrick Beverley on charges related to an incident which happened in November 2025.<\/p>\n
Beverley was arrested on Nov. 14, 2025, and charged with assault of a family member\/impeding breath or circulation. On Tuesday, a grand jury no-billed Beverley, ending the case against him.<\/p>\n
Details on what exactly transpired that led to Beverley\u2019s arrest remain unclear, but at the time, the Fort Bend County Sheriff\u2019s Office said there was a situation that transpired between family members that led to a family violence incident.<\/p>\n
Beverley\u2019s attorneys, Rusty Hardin and Letitia Quinones-Hollins, released the following statement following the grand jury\u2019s decision:<\/p>\n
\u201cSeveral months ago, we said that when all the information was in \u2013 when a grand jury could hear all the facts of this case \u2013 Patrick Beverley would be cleared of all charges. That is what happened today, when a grand jury sitting in Fort Bend County no-billed Patrick, effectively ending the case. Patrick wants everyone to know that he would never do anything to harm his sister and that he is very grateful that the grand jury has recognized that with their no-bill. He is thankful for all who prayed for him and supported him during this time. He is glad that the process was allowed to work as it did and his hope is that with these charges behind him now, his name and reputation will be restored.”<\/p>\n
Beverley has played as a guard for multiple teams in the NBA, including the Houston Rockets, where he played from 2013-17.<\/p>\n
