The rapid growth across North Texas is the reason behind a new hospital about to break ground in north McKinney.<\/p>\n
The latest Census Bureau data shows some of the nation’s fastest growing cities to be Princeton, Anna, Melissa, and Celina in the northern portion of Collin County.<\/p>\n
Texas Health has announced because of that they will build a new hospital near U.S. 75 and Laud Howell Parkway.<\/p>\n
It will serve residents of those fastest growing cities as well as north McKinney.<\/p>\n
The hospital will feature 60 beds with plans to double in capacity in the coming years.<\/p>\n
It will sit on over 50 acres and is expected to be open in 2028.<\/p>\n
The hospital will feature a Women’s Services Center, including labor and delivery, and a neonatal intensive care unit.<\/p>\n
The hospital will also include an Emergency Department, surgical suites, cardiology services, and advanced imaging.<\/p>\n
This hospital will join the 29 other Texas Health hospitals across North Texas.<\/p>\n
