Meanwhile, Houston caf\u00e9 Toasted Yolk is breaking out of its shell with a second San Antonio restaurant. Read on for more essential San Antonio food news.<\/p>\n<p>Openings<\/p>\n<p>Buzzy Houston brunch chain The Toasted Yolk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVBh_NbkhRf\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">has opened<\/a> a second San Antonio restaurant at 18402 N. Hwy. 281. Similar to other trendy A.M. caf\u00e9s, such as Snooze and Another Broken Egg, the franchise offers a menu of comfort classics, including brisket and egg tacos and Benedicts (Toasted Yolk calls them Arnolds), alongside a few Southern dishes, such as shrimp and grits. The bar service goes beyond mimosas, pouring out boozier margaritas and the gin-based Rise &#8216;N&#8217; Shine Punch.<\/p>\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bobaandeats\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">boba shop<\/a> has popped up at 904 FM 3009 in Schertz. Guests will enjoy tastings from top chefs, dance along to the Mark Odom Band, and help support local nonprofit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitsanantonio.com\/members\/partner-with-us\/san-antonio-hospitality-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">San Antonio Hospitality Foundation<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/pullman-market-charity-chili-cook-off-tickets-1980416836068?%20aff=oddtdtcreator\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> are $50 for general admission, $75 for VIP, and $15 for kids aged 10-plus. Before the Dierks Bentley or Sheryl Crow shows, guests can opt for a prix fixe dinner at Southerleigh, Brasserie Mon Chou Chou, Boiler House, Fife &amp; Farro, Ladino, or Mezquite, then enjoy VIP shuttle service to and from Frost Bank Center. Reservations are available at each restaurant\u2019s OpenTable booking page, and rodeo tickets and parking at Pearl must be purchased separately.<\/p>\n<p>William Chris Vineyards has launched its 2025 Mary Ruth, a dry white blend the Hill County winery describes as having notes of \u201cwhite and yellow flowers, enticing aromas of grass, juicy peach, white pineapple, and cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche.\u201d Co-founder William \u201cBill\u201d Blackmon named the series as an ode to his mother, Mary Ruth Blackmon, in 2010, and it has been a best seller ever since.
