Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith<\/a> is set to make an appearance at Walmart in El Paso, according to a poster taped at the store’s entrance.<\/p>\n

The former running back is scheduled to appear for a meet-and-greet from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Walmart located at 7555 North Mesa in El Paso, and the first 25 fans will receive an autographed bottle of an Old Spice product, the poster said.<\/p>\n

Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith is set to make an appearance at Walmart.<\/p>\n

Smith has made appearances in El Paso before, including in October 2024, when he joined\u00a0then-mayoral candidate Renard Johnson<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0first day of early voting\u00a0to encourage voter turnout.<\/p>\n

Smith also appeared at two designated\u00a0polling locations\u00a0a few weeks later, greeting voters and campaigning for Johnson.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored to have my dear friend, Emmitt, visit El Paso on the first day of early voting,” Johnson then stated. “We\u2019ve had a lot of interest from voters and Cowboys fans who are eager to head to the polls to cast their ballot. I hope this helps get people excited about voting this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
