DALLAS (AURN News) \u2014 Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, continues to build momentum as early voting progresses in the Texas U.S. Senate race<\/a>.<\/p>\n In Dallas County, Democrats are showing strong early turnout. According to data from the Texas Secretary of State\u2019s office<\/a>, 65,806 Democrats have voted early so far, compared with 21,374 Republicans.<\/p>\n A recent poll suggests Crockett may also be competitive in a potential general election matchup. Despite claims by some critics that as a Black woman she would not perform as strongly against Republican candidates as her Democratic primary opponent, state Rep.
