Unlike general election propositions that change state law or the constitution, these primary propositions are non-binding. They don\u2019t pass laws themselves; instead, they tell each political party where voters stand on key issues. Parties use these results to help shape their platforms and influence what lawmakers prioritize in the upcoming legislative session. <\/p>\n
Votes on propositions are simply \u201cyes\u201d or \u201cno.\u201d They act like surveys of party members\u2019 views, not official legal changes. <\/p>\n
Republican Primary: What\u2019s on the Ballot<\/p>\n
In the Republican ballot, primary voters will see 10 propositions focused largely on taxes, education, social issues and state policy priorities. <\/p>\n
