El Paso has been waiting for this and I know that we are totally ready to turn the volume up because our city is finally getting the kind of concert venue we\u2019ve always dreamed of. The brand-new Sunset Amphitheater is officially breaking ground this November in Northeast El Paso, and locals already can\u2019t stop talking about who should play there first.<\/p>\n

For years, we\u2019ve had to drive to Albuquerque, Phoenix, or even Austin just to catch some of the biggest tours. But not anymore, this time, El Paso\u2019s getting a front-row seat to the action. And with the Franklin Mountains as a backdrop? You just know those sunset shows are going to be pure magic.<\/p>\n

Everything We Know About the Sunset Amphitheater<\/p>\n

The Sunset Amphitheater will officially break ground on November 19, 2025 in the Cohen Entertainment District, which I think is the perfect spot to anchor El Paso\u2019s growing live-entertainment scene.<\/p>\n

Once finished, the amphitheater will seat 12,500 fans and feature a multi-season design so concerts won\u2019t just be a summertime thing. The project is being developed by VENU Holding Corporation <\/a>through a public-private partnership with the City of El Paso, backed by a $31.5 million performance-based incentive package.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not just a construction project- it\u2019s a cultural investment. The Sunset Amphitheater is projected to bring in $5 billion in economic impact over its first decade, creating jobs, boosting tourism, and helping small businesses thrive.<\/p>\n

And this isn\u2019t just any stage. The venue will feature more than 200 Luxe FireSuites, a members-only Aikman Club (yep, that Troy Aikman), and a stunning canopied roof designed to keep fans comfortable without losing that open-air vibe. Translation: this place is going to look and feel like a first-class concert experience- El Paso style!<\/p>\n
