After months of renovation and anticipation, Adair Kitchen has finally opened its first San Antonio location at 4108 Broadway, bringing a new all-day dining concept to the Broadway corridor.<\/p>\n

The Houston-based restaurant group first revealed plans<\/a> in May 2024 to transform the former Jim\u2019s Restaurant building on Broadway. The diner closed earlier that year after more than five decades in business.<\/p>\n

As construction stretched on, the company kept passersby engaged with cheeky messages posted on the property\u2019s well-known marquee. Signs teased the opening with playful updates such as \u201cWe\u2019re almost ready\u201d and \u201cGood things come to those who wait.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The space underwent an extensive remodel, preserving elements of the building\u2019s familiar structure while introducing Adair Kitchen\u2019s modern aesthetic. The concept is known for its made-from-scratch comfort fare and expansive menu spanning breakfast, lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n

Diners can expect offerings ranging from hummus appetizers to chilaquiles verdes, salads, grain bowls, fish tacos, sirloin burgers and verlasso farm-raised salmon, alongside coffee, draft beer, cocktails and more. The restaurant is open daily.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adair Kitchen\u2019s debut adds to a growing wave of restaurant activity along Broadway, an area that continues to attract new investment and redevelopment, including San Antonio\u2019s first-ever Terry Black\u2019s location.<\/p>\n

Adair Kitchen\u2019s parent company has also signaled additional expansion plans in San Antonio and the surrounding areas with its Tex-Mex concept Los Tios set to open a bit further up the corridor at 4820 Broadway, later this spring.\u00a0<\/p>\n
