Delays are possible; if there is not a livestream available, check back at a later time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The protest on Feb. 13 resulted in immediate consequences for the students, including suspension and the revocation of multiple extracurricular activities. Around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2026\/02\/20\/30-students-disciplined-at-east-central-high-school-after-anti-ice-walkout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2026\/02\/20\/30-students-disciplined-at-east-central-high-school-after-anti-ice-walkout\/\">30 students<\/a> participated in the walkout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">In a statement previously obtained by KSAT, East Central ISD said, \u201c30 students who left class without authorization were disciplined in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct, Texas Education Code, and recent guidance issued by the Texas Education Agency. No students were expelled.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Multiple students said that at least one student was expelled.
