Ridges promote sinking air and sinking air compresses and warms. Add in mostly sunny skies and a southwest wind coming off the higher terrain in New Mexico, and you get efficient heating. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Saturday hourly forecast\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/5YQIWJM3YVFSTFU4CKJ7O5F4GM.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"546\" \/>Saturday hourly forecast(KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Sunday could see temperatures in the mid 80s and some locations pushing close to 90. But that depends on the timing of a \u201ccooler front\u201d. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If it arrives earlier in the day, Sunday may be a few degrees cooler than expected and a few degrees warmer if it slides through later. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Either way, we\u2019ll feel the difference on Monday. Highs fall back into the 70s, which is more typical for the start of March as winds shift out of the north. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Rain chances return next week\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/LHX3PIQVYFBZFFGQKVJG6ZX35U.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"555\" \/>Rain chances return next week(KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Early next week, our upper-level pattern shifts again as a storm system moves into the southwest.
