HOUSTON (Feb. 28, 2026) \u2013 Houston Dynamo 2\u00a0signed forward\u00a0Alan Aparecido Martins Ferreira\u00a0and defender\u00a0Vinicius\u00a0Rodrigues\u00a0da Silva\u00a0on loan for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season with options to buy, the Club announced today.<\/p>\n
Both arrive to Houston from Brazil, with Martins coming from Comercial Futebol Clube Tiet\u00ea, while Silva arrives from Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Ferrovi\u00e1ria de Esportes.<\/p>\n

Martins joins Dos from the Comercial Futebol Clube Tiet\u00ea youth ranks, where he made his mark at both the U-17 and U-20 levels. With the U-17 side, the young Brazilian made nine appearances and scored three goals in 2023 before joining the U-20 squad in 2024. Since then, the winger has recorded 27 appearances at the U-20 level, while scoring four goals, including a late match-winning goal to complete a brace in a 2-1 victory over Crici\u00fama Esporte Clube on Jan. 10, 2026.<\/p>\n
Silva joins the team after spending much of his youth career in Brazil, with Ferrovi\u00e1ria and S\u00e9ria A giants SE Palmeiras and S\u00e3o Paulo Futebol Clube. Silva first rose through the ranks at the S\u00e3o Paulo Academy, featuring for the club\u2019s U-15 side in his final year before joining Ferrovi\u00e1ria in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old became a regular for Ferrovi\u00e1ria\u2019s U-17 squad in his first year with the club, making 24 appearances in 2023 and helping lead the team reach the quarterfinals of the Campeonato Paulista U-17. He scored three goals that season, including a brace in a 5-0 victory over S\u00e3o Carlos Futebol Clube on June 10. He also made appearances for the Ferrovi\u00e1ria U-20 squad in 2024, playing in six matches before going on loan to Palmeiras last season.<\/p>\n
