\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMandola\u2019s Italian Kitchen<\/a> is celebrating 20 years of serving Texas on March 3.<\/p>\n

The details<\/p>\n

The locally owned restaurant from Damian and Trina Mandola first opened in North Austin’s The Triangle<\/a> in 2006. Since then, it has expanded to three additional Austin-area locations including in Southwest Austin, Bee Cave and Cedar Park<\/a>. Additionally, Mandola’s can be found in Florida.<\/p>\n

The counter-service restaurant offers Italian dishes alongside market items such as bread, pastries, gelato and cured meats and cheeses.<\/p>\n

To celebrate 20 years March 3, each Mandola’s location will be offering 20% off meals and a gift card giveaway.<\/p>\n

Behind the name<\/p>\n

In the early 2000s, Damian and Trina Mandola moved to the Austin area. Damian Mandola told Community Impact<\/a> his dream was to create a space that offered a restaurant, gelato, coffee and pastries all under one roof; resulting in Mandola\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The couple also owns Trattoria Lisina<\/a>, a Tuscan-inspired Italian restaurant in Driftwood. The pair have frequented Italy over the years, and Damian Mandola is also Sicilian American, according to previous<\/a> Community Impact reporting.<\/p>\n
