Strangers asking questions about building security features or procedures<\/p>\n
Social media posts about a possible school attack<\/p>\n
Accounts encouraging vandalism, sabotage or arson<\/p>\n
Requests for sensitive information, such as security plans, blueprints or VIP travel schedules, without a clear need to know<\/p>\n
Purchasing supplies that could be used to make bombs or weapons without proper credentials<\/p>\n
Taking photos or videos of security features, such as cameras or checkpoints<\/p>\n
The iWatchTexas app is available at no cost for iPhone users in the Apple App Store and for Android users on Google Play. DPS is encouraging Texans to download the app and use it if they see something concerning.<\/p>\n
Officials emphasize that the program is not intended for emergencies. If a situation requires an immediate response, call 911.<\/p>\n
