\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEarly voting for the 2026 primary election started Feb. 17 and ended Feb. 27 across the state, and unofficial results show 16.09% of Tarrant County residents voted early or by mail ahead of the March 3 primary elections, according to data from the secretary of state website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The details<\/p>\n

The county\u2019s turnout for early voters was more than 86,000 voters for registered Republicans and more than 123,000 for registered Democrats, out of 1,306,427 total registered voters.<\/p>\n

According to the data, 2,522 votes came from mail-in ballots from registered Republicans and 1,807 from registered Democrats.<\/p>\n

Overall, 6.63% of voters participated as registered Republicans and 9.46% of voters participated as registered Democrats during the early voting period, per the website.<\/p>\n

The primary elections for the Democratic and Republican parties are preliminary elections to select candidates from each party for the November election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. March 3 for election day. Registered Tarrant County voters are required to vote at their designated polling centers.<\/p>\n
