Officials say a Chevrolet Volt crossed the median and struck a Lincoln Navigator, carrying the boy and three others.<\/p>\n
PLANO, Texas \u2014 The Plano Police Department says a 15-year-old boy has died after a car crash on Independence Parkway.<\/p>\n
Officers and Plano Fire-Rescue personnel were called to the crash at about noon Monday in the 600 block of Independence Parkway, the city said.<\/p>\n
Officials say a Chevrolet Volt was heading south when they lost control and crossed the median, colliding into a Lincoln Navigator carrying the victim and three others.<\/p>\n
The victim, Carter Hiese of Murphy, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. The three other occupants were taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries aren’t known at this time.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Volt was not taken in for any injuries, officials said.<\/p>\n
