(South Jetty staff photo \u00a9 2026 by Dan Parker.)<\/p>\n<p>A cyclist was injured in a collision with a truck in Port Aransas today (Monday, March 2).<\/p>\n<p>The accident occurred about 2 p.m. on State Highway 361, just north of the Grand Caribbean condominiums.<\/p>\n<p>The man riding the bicycle was taken to a Corpus Christi hospital by ambulance. His condition was unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s collision was the second auto-vs-bicycle accident that has occurred along the highway in the past few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Kimacovich, 68, of Canada, was killed in a traffic accident on State Highway 361 and Howard Boulevard on Feb. 14.<\/p>\n<p>A preliminary police investigation showed that Kimacovich was riding on a sidewalk next to the highway, and his bicycle was hit by a truck proceeding from Howard Boulevard onto the highway.
