Arlington Pools & Splash Pads Open<\/p>\n
Get ready for some fun in the sun! The City of Arlington\u2019s Bad K\u00f6nigshofen Family Aquatic Center<\/a>, Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center<\/a>, Allen Bolden Outdoor Pool<\/a>, Woodland West<\/a>, & Howard Moore<\/a> pools and its three free outdoor splash pads are open through Labor Day weekend in early September, while the smaller outdoor pools will close in August. Learn more about hours of operations and summer swim passes<\/a>.<\/p>\n Six Flags Hurricane Harbor<\/p>\n The largest water park in North Texas is back open daily for the summer. Head over to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor<\/a> or its website to purchase tickets and passes<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Smurf Experience<\/p>\n This 13,000-square-foot, fully immersive attraction will transport families into the heart of Smurf Village. The experience will be held at the Arlington Museum of Art<\/a>. The 75-minute experience will feature\u00a0nine\u00a0mission-based zones\u00a0filled with interactive scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, virtual reality adventures, meet-and-greets with beloved Smurf characters and more. It’s hands-on, high-energy and full of Smurftastic fun for kids and parents alike. The Smurf Experience is not to be missed and is only in\u00a0Texas\u00a0until the end of the Summer. Tickets are now available at\u00a0www.SmurfExperienceUSA.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Help Shape the City’s Future by Playing Arlington’s Board Game<\/p>\n As part of the Innovate Arlington Comprehensive Plan<\/a>, residents are invited to play Growing a Better Arlington, a new interactive board game that puts you in charge of the city\u2019s future. In this fun and strategic game, players decide where people should live, work, learn, and play in The American Dream City.<\/p>\n Designed for 2 to 6 players, the game challenges teams to balance growth, resources, and quality of life while building a city together. Players will use \u201cDream Coins\u201d to fund projects like housing, parks, and infrastructure, all while responding to surprise events and community needs. The goal is to meet Arlington\u2019s future growth trajectories without compromising the character that makes the city unique.<\/p>\n The game is available at all Arlington Public Library locations. Each location will have three copies: two available for cardholder checkout and one for in-library play.<\/p>\n You can reserve the game to play<\/a>.<\/p>\n Game outcomes will directly influence land use and development decisions for the next 20 years. Whether you\u2019ve lived in Arlington for decades or just arrived, this is your chance to shape the city\u2019s future. Visit any library location to begin playing.<\/p>\n Summer Music Series<\/p>\n Join Arlington Parks & Recreation<\/a> for acoustic music and wine, whiskey and food specials each Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. from now through Sept. 12. Home Plate Restaurant is located inside the Texas Rangers Golf Club<\/a> at 701 Brown Blvd. in north Arlington. While entry is free, guests are encouraged to RSVP<\/a>.<\/p>\n Levitt Pavilion Fall Concert Series<\/p>\n Levitt Pavilion Arlington<\/a>\u2019s Summer Concert Series kicks off 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2025 as Steins Under The Stars feat.
