{"id":188710,"date":"2026-03-03T18:17:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T18:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/188710\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T18:17:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T18:17:10","slug":"15-year-old-killed-in-plano-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/188710\/","title":{"rendered":"15-Year-Old Killed In Plano Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"483\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/17725604391983.jpg\" alt=\"heavily wrecked car close-up, severely damaged car bumper and hood after major accident, Huge dent in car body, reckless driving, tire intact insurance case, repairs needed after serious collision\" class=\"wp-image-4521283\"  \/>Source: Victor Golmer \/ Getty<\/p>\n<p>Monday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy was killed in a traffic crash in Plano, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred around noon in the 600 block of Independence Parkway, near Plano Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the driver of a blue Chevy Volt was traveling at high speeds on southbound Independence Parkway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center median, and struck a white Lincoln Navigator that was heading north on Independence Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>4 people were in the vehicle, including 15-year-old Carter Heise, who died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The other 3 passengers were taken to the hospital, while the driver of the Chevy Volt was not hurt.
