The driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center median, and struck an SUV that was travelling north on Independence Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>The SUV was occupied by four individuals, including the driver. One of the passengers, a 15-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Plano Fire-Rescue. The other three occupants were transported to a local hospital and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
