A 52-year-old man is in custody after a domestic disturbance and SWAT standoff in west Fort Worth early Tuesday, March 3, police say.<\/p>\n

A 52-year-old man is in custody Tuesday morning after a SWAT standoff in west Fort Worth, police said.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 4700 block of Albermale Drive about 1:40 a.m. A married couple got into an argument, according to police, and the husband pointed a gun at his wife. The woman left the house and called 911 for help.<\/p>\n

Nearly 30 police units were dispatched to the scene. The SWAT team was called in shortly before 4 a.m., and the suspect was taken into custody about 5:45 a.m., according to the police report.<\/p>\n

The suspect, Jack Warren Fulcher, is being held in the Fort Worth City Jail<\/a>. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violation of bond\/protective order, according to jail records.<\/p>\n

The Family Violence Unit is investigating the incident, police said.<\/p>\n
