Two men were shot on Sunday evening near a park in southeast Fort Worth, police said.<\/p>\n

The men, who are 28 and 26, were shot about 7:30 p.m. near Carter Park in the 4300 block Carter Park Drive, near East Seminary Drive, according to a Fort Worth police record.<\/p>\n

Both victims were taken to a hospital, and their condition was reported to be stable, according to a Fort Worth police spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Police detained a suspect; they did not report an arrest.<\/p>\n

The men who were fired upon on Carter Park Drive were among eight people who were shot<\/a> in the city on Sunday. One of those shooting victims died in a parking lot on Northwest 35th Street<\/a>, and the others were hospitalized.<\/p>\n
