The City of Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture Department will host the 12th annual Arlington Bass Classic at Lake Arlington on Saturday, April 18, 2026.\u00a0Registration is $100 per team (1 or 2 people) and includes Big Bass contest entry. One boat per team. Cash prizes will be given to the top 6 teams for biggest stringer.<\/p>\n
The tournament is open to all anglers, however, anglers 17 or under MUST have a parent\/guardian authorization on registration form.<\/p>\n
\nTotal number of teams: 40 max (1 or 2 anglers)
\n$20 payment is required at time of registration.
\nYou will need to bring the remaining\u00a0$80 CASH\u00a0during check-in and purchase a day pass or annual permit if you do not already have one for 2026.
\nPrizes will be awarded to the top 6 teams and biggest bass.
\nBoats will leave the buoys based on their number drawn. Tournament start time is 7:00am and ends at 2:30pm. A\u00a0one pound per minute\u00a0penalty is assessed for boats not inside the buoys by 2:30pm.

Schedule of Events:<\/p>\n
5:30-6:30am:\u00a0Check-in (1st\u00a0Live well check and draw poker chip, 2nd\u00a0drop boat and park, 3rd\u00a0come in to pay remaining $80 in cash\/ tournament meeting)
6:45am:\u00a0Pre-tournament meeting at the Richard Simpson Park Pavilion
6:50am:\u00a0Participants head to their boats
6:55am:\u00a0National Anthem
7am:\u00a0Tournament starts- boats are released based on random poker chip number drawn
2:00-3:00pm:\u00a0Weigh in at pavilion
2:30pm:\u00a0Tournament ends- boats must be inside buoys or face score penalty
3:00pm: Weigh-in deadline
3:30pm:\u00a0Winners announced at the pavilion<\/p>\n
