HOUSTON \u2013 Harris County District Court Judge Beverly Armstrong denied bond Wednesday for a Houston attorney who has been under investigation for more than a year connected to a missing person case.<\/p>\n

Sean Kennedy has been back in jail for the last two weeks while Houston police investigate the disappearance and possible murder of Robert Bond, who has been missing since 2024.<\/p>\n

Kennedy was most recently charged with stalking for allegedly harassing his neighbor, including by allegedly installing a surveillance camera pointed at a neighbor\u2019s bedroom window. <\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege Kennedy\u2019s stalking was in retaliation against the neighbor for providing information to investigators about Kennedy\u2019s possible involvement Bond\u2019s murder, who was 40 years old when he disappeared in June of 2024.<\/p>\n

At the time of Kennedy\u2019s latest arrest on Feb. 18, he was already out on bond on charges related to drugs and engaging in organized crime.<\/p>\n

In a motion to revoke and deny bond, prosecutors claimed Kennedy violated his bond conditions in the previous cases by picking up a new felony stalking charge. <\/p>\n

Kennedy allegedly watched and photographed the neighbors in their home, instigated confrontations, damaged their property including a surveillance camera and disrupted their utility service, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Defense attorney Anthony Osso said the claims are unsubstantiated and the evidence didn\u2019t prove any of that took place. <\/p>\n

Prosecutors also claim Kennedy disabled and interfered with a tracking device he was supposed to be wearing while out on bond possibly by using a signal jamming device, in which he allegedly failed to comply with GPS monitoring conditions.<\/p>\n

Osso disputed that Kennedy had an operable signal jamming device.<\/p>\n

Kennedy has not been charged in Bond\u2019s disappearance, but Bond\u2019s mother told KPRC 2 News her son lived with the Kennedy and his wife when he went missing, and she has little hope that he\u2019s still alive.<\/p>\n

The court heard testimony over two days before Judge Armstrong granted the state\u2019s motion to deny bond. Other evidence came up during the hearing about drug paraphernalia found in Kennedy\u2019s home and his failure to comply with a drug testing requirement as a previous bond condition. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not enthusiastic about the ruling … but I respect her decision. The bulk of the case had to do with a stalking and invasive visual recording case that I think is completely unsubstantiated,\u201d Osso said.<\/p>\n

Osso said he believes the neighbors are being allowed to use the police department and district attorney\u2019s office \u201cat their disposal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kennedy is not due back in court until May. <\/p>\n

His wife, Alle Price, remains on bond for charges including possession or use of fraudulent identifying information and credit\/debit card abuse, which came after Houston police executed an initial search warrant on the couple\u2019s home for Bond.<\/p>\n
