Caroline Evans<\/a> and Ashley Johnston<\/a> were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Evans pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Johnston tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Evans has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Evans went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Johnston earned three runs and two stolen bases. Those three runs gave Johnston a new career-high.<\/p>\n

In other batting news, Plano got a massive performance out of Aubrey Zhang<\/a>, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That’s the most RBI Zhang has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Darby DeJean<\/a>, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.<\/p>\n

Plano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton only posted an OBP of .250.<\/p>\n

Plano’s record now sits at 8-6-1. As for Princeton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.<\/p>\n

Plano has already played their next contest (against Plano West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Princeton also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against McKinney.<\/p>\n
