Eaton1+ 11 more games<\/a><\/p>\n The Plano Wildcats<\/a> are taking a road trip to take on the Prosper Eagles<\/a> at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Plano is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n Plano had taken Plano West down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.<\/p>\n Addison Pecenka<\/a> made the most of her time in the batter’s box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run. Taylor Pitts<\/a> also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.<\/p>\n Prosper came out on top against Rock Hill on Tuesday thanks in part to the team’s impressive four-run third inning. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Blue Hawks. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Blue Hawks: they’ve now won four in a row.<\/p>\n Peyton Moya<\/a> was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.<\/p>\n In other batting news, Prosper let Bella Lopez<\/a> and Khyla Glover<\/a> run wild. Lopez went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple, while Glover went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Glover a new career-high. Analia Dishong<\/a> was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.<\/p>\n Plano has been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four games. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-1 record this season. As for Prosper, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.<\/p>\n Friday’s matchup will be a test for both teams’ pitchers. Plano hasn’t had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it’s not like Prosper struggles in that department as they’ve averaged .328.
