At around noon on March 1, authorities responded to the scene of an accident in the 600 block of Independence Parkway.<\/p>\n

Four people were riding in the Navigator at the time of the accident. One of them was declared deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
Authorities identified the deceased victim as Carter Heise, 15. Three other occupants of the Navigator were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.<\/p>\n
One of the drivers, Murad Omar Howry, 30, of Plano, was arrested and booked into Collin County Jail on manslaughter charges. His bond was set at $50,000.<\/p>\n
The Plano Police Department is still investigating the deadly incident and more details are expected to be released.<\/p>\n
