If a player wins the jackpot tonight, the prize would be the second largest since the game launched in 2001.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The drawing will be the 10th in the current jackpot run since starting at an estimated $200,000 for the drawing on February 2. No player has matched all four numbers and the bonus ball yet. Today\u2019s draw will determine whether one or more winners will celebrate a near-record jackpot win, or if the prize will continue to grow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The largest Texas Two Step jackpot in game history was $2.9 million on April 27, 2006 drawing, shared by three winners. Two of the winning tickets were sold in Longview, and the last was purchased in San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The last time the jackpot reached more than $2 million was for the October 12, 2023 drawing, which peaked at $2.25 million. That prize was won by two individuals from Garland and Houston.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For just $1 per ticket, players could win the jackpot by matching all four white ball numbers, and the red Bonus Ball number, with odds of 1 in 32.4.
