WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (KAUZ) – The U.S. Drought Monitor has been updated for Wichita County.<\/p>\n
As of Thursday, March 5, Wichita County remains in the \u201cD1 Moderate Drought\u201d category. <\/p>\n
Many North Texas counties have remained in the \u201cD2 Severe Drought\u201d status for an extended period of time, such as Foard, Hardeman, and Wilbarger counties.<\/p>\n
Southern Oklahoma counties are experiencing harsher drought conditions, with Stevens and Tillman counties having the driest conditions in our area, at “D3 Extreme Drought.”<\/p>\n
