The Lower Colorado River Authority is conducting studies to determine if a site northwest of Eagle Lake in Colorado County would be suitable for a new, larger water reservoir.<\/p>\n

Lake Travis ISD’s second high school to be named Highland Lakes High School<\/p>\n The Lake Travis ISD board of trustees voted Feb. 18 to name the district’s upcoming second high school Highland Lakes High School, with its official school colors being dark green, blue and white.<\/p>\n The school is slated to open for the 2029-30 school year per the latest available construction update, a year later than initially projected.<\/p>\n
