The beauty salon is set to open March 8, turning the former home decor retail spot into an inclusive, full-service salon.<\/p>\n

Anomal\u00eda Beauty Society<\/a>, a Latina-owned beauty salon founded in Carrollton, is opening a location in Downtown Plano in the former La Foofaraw<\/a> location this weekend.<\/p>\n

The salon offers a range of hair services that include haircuts, color, balayage and hair extensions.<\/p>\n

\u201cFounded by Tracey Honea, Anomal\u00eda Beauty Society was created from a faith-driven vision to serve others through excellence, intention, and community,\u201d a press release stated.<\/p>\n

Husband and co-owner Jonas Honea shared that the team is currently finishing the build-out of the space and hopes to open in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly excited and grateful to be joining the downtown Plano community,\u201d he said. \u201cThis expansion is something we\u2019ve prayed over, and we\u2019re looking forward to creating a space that not only delivers exceptional beauty services but also reflects our values of faith, integrity, and connection.\u201d<\/p>\n

The store replaces La Foofaraw, an interior design and home decor store that closed in December.<\/p>\n
