Two people were arrested after Fort Worth police and other agencies said officers observed prostitution, public lewdness, drug use and operating a sexually-oriented business without a license or permit.<\/p>\n
In a press release, Fort Worth police said officers were notified of a new club called Masquerade Cabaret located in west Fort Worth. Officers began investigating the club and found that it was operating outside of the city’s sexually-oriented business ordinance, the release states.<\/p>\n
A joint investigation with Fort Worth police, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Homeland Security revealed probable cause for the sale of alcohol without a license, prostitution, public lewdness, open drug use inside the club and operating a sexually-oriented business without a license or permit, the release states.<\/p>\n
The owners, Margerie Franklin and Trent Craff, were arrested for operation of a sexually-oriented business without a license or permit, the release states. A cease and desist letter was also sent to the owners, notifying them to cease illegal operations immediately, police said.<\/p>\n
Arrest warrants were also issued for the other offenses, and those warrants remain outstanding, the release states.<\/p>\n
