{"id":19271,"date":"2025-10-24T13:40:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T13:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/19271\/"},"modified":"2025-10-24T13:40:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T13:40:08","slug":"east-plano-starbucks-store-now-closed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/19271\/","title":{"rendered":"East Plano Starbucks store now closed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tA <a href=\"https:\/\/starbucks.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Starbucks<\/a> coffeehouse located off Parker Road is now closed.<\/p>\n<p>A sign on the door said the company made the \u201cincredibly difficult decision to close this Starbucks location.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some context<\/p>\n<p>The store, located at the intersection of Parker Road and Alma Drive, closed Sept. 27.<\/p>\n<p>Brian Niccol, chairman and the CEO of Starbucks, said in a Sept. 25 <a href=\"https:\/\/about.starbucks.com\/press\/2025\/message-from-brian-an-important-update\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">news release<\/a> numerous stores across the country would see closures, including several in the <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/houston\/heights-river-oaks-montrose\/dining\/2025\/09\/29\/7-starbucks-stores-closing-in-the-greater-houston-area\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Houston<\/a> and San Antonio area.<\/p>\n<p>Niccol said in the release the closing coffee houses were unable to \u201ccreate the physical environment our customers and partners expect&#8221; or &#8220;see a path to financial performance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Starbucks coffeehouse located off Parker Road is now closed.
