Now, a fence is wrapped around the building with strong\u00a0signage to discourage trespassing on the property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A lockout notice appeared taped to the door of the Taco Cabana at 2908 Broadway, dated December 9, 2025. The notice included language that suggested the business was locked out over delinquent rent. MySA visited the fenced-off location on Tuesday, March 3, and there were no indications of life. (Polly Anna Rocha\/MySA)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">MySA reached out to Gonzalez, Chiscano, Angulo &amp; Kasson, PC, the law firm listed on the lockout notice, to ask for an update on the property&#8217;s status, but the firm appears to have been dissolved. We also attempted to reach out to Steve Chiscano by email, the primary contact listed on the notice, but we did not receive a response by the time of publishing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Additionally, MySA contacted marketing representatives for Taco Cabana to ask if the company still has ties to\u00a0the property at 2908 Broadway. We will update this story if and when we hear back. Lastly, MySA emailed The DoSeum to ask if the children&#8217;s museum had anything to comment about the property, since in 2025, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressnews.com\/business\/article\/san-antonio-taco-cabana-closures-21260970.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:San Antonio Express-News;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">San Antonio Express-News<\/a> reported that The DoSeum acquired the Taco Cabana property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">San Antonio saw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/food\/article\/taco-cabana-closures-san-antonio-21104746.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:several closures of Taco Cabana locations;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">several closures of Taco Cabana locations<\/a> in 2025.
