HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A man was sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted of shooting a Harris County deputy and then sparking an hourslong standoff in 2023, according to records.<\/p>\n

Terran Green was pulled over for speeding in August 2023. That’s when authorities said he shot Deputy Joseph Anderson, who suffered serious injuries, and then took off.<\/p>\n
The day after the shooting, investigators found Green inside a Humble-area home, where he barricaded himself. During this scene, Green shot a second deputy, as well as two U.S. Marshals. All four law enforcement officers survived.<\/p>\n
