Another player making a difference was Kaylie Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Calallen lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They are 8-2-1 when they post two or more home runs.

Meanwhile, Santa Gertrudis Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins… but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Cottonpickers 5-3.

Santa Gertrudis Academy’s win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Calallen, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1.

Calallen was able to grind out a solid win over Santa Gertrudis Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 6-1.
