United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould announced this week.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndtx\/pr\/lubbock-chapter-president-banditos-motorcycle-club-charged-methamphetamine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">press release<\/a> from the Justice Department, Steven Glenn Ryals, of Lubbock was charged on March 2, 2026. He is also known &#8220;Hot Tub&#8221; and is the chapter President of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club.<\/p>\n<p>If convicted he faces a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in the federal prison.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, law enforcement executed a search warrant of the Lubbock Bandidos clubhouse which also served as Ryals residence.<\/p>\n<p>According to the complaint, in early 2025, law enforcement agents initiated an investigation into Ryals, who was the Banditos Notorious Chapter President, and other Banditos members suspected of methamphetamine trafficking the Lubbock area. \u00a0On February 27, 2026, law enforcement agents executed a search warrant for the Banditos Notorious clubhouse, which was also Ryals\u2019s residence. \u00a0Inside an office, agents located approximately 3.2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine inside a locked drawer of a wooden filing cabinet. \u00a0Next to the cabinet was another cabinet containing Ryals\u2019 BMC paraphernalia..<\/p>\n<p>The report also stated that in other parts of the office, agents found small plastic baggies, digital scales, and concealed compartments inside a bookshelf.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kfyo.com\/cartel-hitman-sentenced-texas-trafficking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">READ MORE: Former Cartel Hitman Sentenced<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The investigation was a joint operation of the\u00a0Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lubbock Anti-Gang Center, and Caprock Hi-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). \u00a0The Texas Anti-Gang Center is composed of agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Lubbock County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and the Lubbock Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant United States Attorney Stephen Rancourt is prosecuting the case.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, view the press release <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndtx\/pr\/lubbock-chapter-president-banditos-motorcycle-club-charged-methamphetamine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>15 Requirements Needed to be a Texas Correctional Officer<\/p>\n<p>Ever wondered what it took to be a Correctional Officer in Texas prisons?
