DALLAS \u2014 Police are investigating after two people were shot, one of whom was killed, Saturday night in southern Dallas, officials say.<\/p>\n
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called at about 10:29 p.m. Saturday to the 3400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way.<\/p>\n
Police say one of the victims, 37-year-old Devodrick Lamont Franklin, was found laying in a doorway with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.<\/p>\n
Dallas Fire Rescue took Franklin to a local hospital, police say, where he died.<\/p>\n
The second victim, a 16-year-old boy, took himself to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police say he’s in stable condition.<\/p>\n
