The two-day tournament will feature 36 holes on Monday followed by a final 18 holes on Tuesday as the Huskies welcome a strong field of NCAA Division I programs to Sugar Land.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament field includes New Mexico State, Louisville, UT Arlington, Lamar, Tarleton State, Texas A&amp;M\u2013Corpus Christi, Prairie View A&amp;M, UT Rio Grande Valley, East Texas A&amp;M, Incarnate Word, Austin Peay, Delaware, Blinn College, McLennan CC and Odessa College, along with host Houston Christian.<\/p>\n<p>The Huskies enter the event after a strong stretch of play this season, highlighted by a team victory at the Islanders Collegiate Invitational earlier this spring and a third-place finish at the Texas State Invitational. HCU has recorded several strong rounds throughout the season, including a team-low 281 in the second round of the Texas State Invitational, the lowest team round of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Houston Christian will compete with a lineup featuring sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/hcuhuskies.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/ploy-makmanee\/6748\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6748\" target=\"_blank\">Ploy Makmanee<\/a>, senior <a href=\"https:\/\/hcuhuskies.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/alejandra-ferrer\/6745\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6745\" target=\"_blank\">Alejandra Ferrer<\/a>, sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/hcuhuskies.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/alyssa-stewart\/6749\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6749\" target=\"_blank\">Alyssa Stewart<\/a>, sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/hcuhuskies.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/abigail-o-brien\/6750\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6750\" target=\"_blank\">Abigail O&#8217;Brien<\/a>, and senior <a href=\"https:\/\/hcuhuskies.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/hailey-hendershott\/6746\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6746\" target=\"_blank\">Hailey Hendershott<\/a>. Makmanee leads the Huskies with a 73.6 scoring average, while Stewart carries a 74.6 average and owns a low round of 69 this season.
