A woman was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in south Fort Worth, police said.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to the hit-and-run shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Glen Garden Drive and South Riverside Drive, Fort Worth police said in a statement.<\/p>\n

A 911 caller reported seeing an injured pedestrian lying on the ground in the street. When officers arrived, they found the victim, who died at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said they found the suspect vehicle and the driver. The identity of the driver and details about potential charges faced were not released.<\/p>\n

The woman who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office<\/a> after her next of kin have been notified.<\/p>\n
