Organizers said every dollar raised will stay on the South Plains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cMarch for Babies \u2014 it\u2019s more than a walk, it\u2019s a movement,\u201d said Heather Keister, chair of the March of Dimes. \u201cIt\u2019s about showing up for families in their most vulnerable moments of their lives. When babies are born too soon or need extra care, organizations like March of Dimes are there \u2014 whether it\u2019s funding research, supporting NICUs, and advocating for healthier moms and stronger babies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The highlight of the annual campaign is a community walk scheduled for April 25. Participants can form teams and begin fundraising now ahead of the event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Donations can also be made at checkout through partner grocery stores.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
