Texas A&M<\/a> beat Stephen F. Austin in a 14-1, 7-inning game in which 13 of the 15 runs scored came in two innings.<\/p>\n

The Aggies’ bats were connecting today, first obtaining a three-run lead with an active first inning. Gavin Gravhovac batted in a run, then was batted in himself to obtain a comfortable early lead.<\/p>\n

The Aggies\u2019 pitching and fielding were on fire today, allowing just three hits and two runs in an otherwise flawless performance. The one run allowed came in the top of the fourth inning, when SFA first baseman Mark Henning hit a solo homer.<\/p>\n

The Aggies matched with a solo shot of their own from Blake Binderup<\/a> in the bottom of the fourth. The floodgates broke open in the sixth inning, when the Aggies went for two home runs and 10 runs. Leading 14-1 entering the seventh inning, Texas A&M<\/a> quickly retired the side to finish the ballgame early.<\/p>\n
