{"id":199667,"date":"2026-03-11T10:33:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/199667\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T10:33:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:33:15","slug":"cedar-park-officials-to-reconsider-plans-for-park-street-walking-path","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/199667\/","title":{"rendered":"Cedar Park officials to reconsider plans for Park Street walking path"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cedarparktexas.gov\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cedar Park<\/a> residents who were expecting a shared-use path along West Park Street may instead see the project built along Buttercup Creek Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>Two-minute impact<\/p>\n<p>According to documents provided ahead of the March 12 City Council meeting, Cedar Park Engineering &amp; Capital Projects staff will recommend shifting the planned path to Buttercup Creek Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cedarparktexas.gov\/1234\/Mobility-Master-Plan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mobility Master Plan<\/a> originally identified a shared-use path on West Park Street as a top-priority trail.
