<\/p>\nGALVESTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Multiple lanes on the Gulf Freeway northbound were closed on Tuesday due to a crash involving an H-E-B big rig, TxDOT said.<\/p>\n
In a social media post, TxDOT shared that multiple main lanes of the Gulf Freeway northbound near SH 96 in League City were blocked during the investigation.<\/p>\n
Describing it as a hazmat incident, TxDOT said that crews responded to assist in clearing the scene.<\/p>\n
In the post, TxDOT shared an image of the crash, showing the collision between the H-E-B big rig and a Ford pickup truck.<\/p>\n
Officials have not said what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.<\/p>\n
