{"id":199746,"date":"2026-03-11T11:38:06","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T11:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/199746\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T11:38:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T11:38:06","slug":"father-shoots-his-adult-son-during-argument-over-keys-hpd-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/199746\/","title":{"rendered":"Father shoots his adult son during argument over keys, HPD says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Houston Police Department said a father and son had gotten into an argument over the keys to a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>HOUSTON \u2014 A man was left in critical condition after a shooting at a north Houston home early Wednesday morning, police say.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. at a home on Victoria Drive in the Independence Heights neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>The Houston Police Department said a father and son had gotten into an argument over the keys to a vehicle.
