Boot maker Tecovas<\/a> may be manifesting its destiny into a bigger Stockyards location.<\/p>\n

Representatives for the company filed a permit with the city of Fort Worth\u2019s Historic and Cultural Landmarks Commission to expand its footprint at 2341 N. Main St. to include the space formerly occupied by Taco Heads,<\/a> according to the city\u2019s permit database.<\/p>\n

The expansion will enclose the covered patio in front and add signs to the side of the building, according to the filing.<\/p>\n

A separate remodeling permit<\/a> was filed in February to demolish what\u2019s left of the now shuttered Taco Heads location.<\/p>\n

Representatives for the company did not immediately reply to a phone call and Instagram direct message from the Star-Telegram requesting comment.<\/p>\n

Tecovas opened its Stockyards location in June 2020. The 11-year-old company markets itself as company that makes \u201cbetter boots the right way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since its founding in 2015, the company has expanded past its eastside Austin location to 50 stores in 26 states.<\/p>\n
