The former Fire Oak Grill<\/a> restaurant in Weatherford will get a $3.2 million remodeling by the same company that designed the $5 million Cattlemen\u2019s Steak House<\/a> and club in Fort Worth, according to a state application<\/a> filed March 6.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth-based TV producer Taylor Sheridan<\/a> and his business partners<\/a> are not named on the application. A spokesperson for Sheridan\u2019s SGS Holdings Group did not return a late message.<\/p>\n

But Grapevine-based Duncan Design Group<\/a>, the design firm behind the remodeling of Cattleman\u2019s and the private Cattleman\u2019s Club, is listed as the design firm for the project.<\/p>\n

The 1884-85-vintage retail building is at 114 Austin Ave. on the Parker County courthouse square.<\/p>\n

Duncan also has designed more than 25 restaurants for other companies such as Cristina\u2019s, Mi Cocina, Muchacho and Social House. But only Cattleman\u2019s, a 20,710-square-foot steakhouse and club, is at the scale of the Fire Oak project, listed as 12,731 square feet.<\/p>\n

The application for Fire Oak indicates construction is estimated to be finished by May 31, 2027.<\/p>\n

The owner of the Fire Oak building is listed as a Fort Worth-based family trust that bought it July 2, 2025.<\/p>\n

Fire Oak Grill closed July 19, 2025 after 18 years.<\/p>\n

In a farewell letter, then-owners Candice and Grant Lambdins wrote that the new owner \u201cwill continue to pour LOVE into this space.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reference was taken as a hint that the buyer was nationally known Fort Worth chef Tim Love<\/a>, but the Lambdins declined to say.<\/p>\n

Sheridan, owner of Bosque Ranch in Parker County, is the creator of \u201cYellowstone,\u201d \u201cLandman\u201d: and the new Fort Worth-filmed series \u201cThe Madison,\u201d<\/a> which premieres March 14 on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
