Officers will focus on the following driving behaviors:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Controlled intersection violations<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThe goal is to improve roadway safety and encourage drivers to follow traffic laws. Motorists are advised to drive responsibly, stay alert and comply with all traffic regulations,\u201d read the news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The enforcement is made possible through a grant provided by the Texas Department of Transportation, as part of the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
