DALLAS \u2014 Students taking their SATs were evacuated from Lake Highlands High School after Richardson ISD was notified of a bomb threat, officials said.<\/p>\n
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) received the threat and notified the district Saturday morning, according to a notice that was sent to parents and staff in the district.<\/p>\n
Students taking their SATs were told to log out of their computers and evacuate the building, officials said.<\/p>\n
DPD officers swept through every room of the school and determined the threat was not credible, according to the notice sent by the district.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease know that we take any potential threat very seriously, and the safety of our students remains our highest priority,\u201d the district notice said.<\/p>\n
